The Deodhar Tennis Academy is run out of two clubs in Bethesda, MD, the Carderock Swim and Tennis Club and the Old Georgetown Club. Each club is located in a beautiful wooded setting and offers wonderful amenities including pool, clubhouse, newly resurfaced hard courts, and much more.
Nitin Deodhar is the Tennis Director of the Deodhar Tennis Academy and along with his Head Professional, Emre Baris, and staff of U.S.P.T.A. Tennis Professionals, conducts programs for all ages and levels. Our academy's teaching methods have led to numerous junior and adult achievements including, collegiate scholarships, national rankings, sectional rankings, USTA national and sectional league championships, and much more.

Deodhar Tennis Academy Staff:
Nitin Deodhar. Director of Tennis at Carderock Swim and Tennis Club and Old Georgetown Club. Playing background includes being a top 10 player in the Mid Atlantic as a junior, nationally ranked junior player, and being a scholarship tennis player at Division 1 Towson University.
Teaching background includes being a U.S.P.T.A. P1 professional, former Junior Tennis Director at Bullis Tennis Training Center, and former Head Professional at Bethesda Country Club. Have developed numerous collegiate, nationally, and sectionally ranked juniors.

Emre Baris. Head Tennis Professional at Carderock Swim and Tennis Club and Old Georgetown Club. Playing background includes being highly ranked in the Mid-Atlantic as a junior player as well as a top Varsity Tennis Player at Walter Johnson High School.
Teaching background includes being a U.S.P.T.A. certified. Has taught at numerous clubs around the U.S. and abroad.
Oren Stephen. Staff Professional at Carderock Swim and Tennis Club.
Playing background includes being the top player in the Virgin Islands and scholorship tennis player at Division 1 Duquense University.
Teaching background includes teaching at clubs in the Mid-Atlantic area, has developed a loyal following through his years of teaching.
